At The Barn
I met Nikki in December at a networking meeting and boy am I happy that I went to that meeting! She is a social media and online marketing specialist and has really been helping me up my game! Nikki is a breath of fresh air. She is so sweet, kind, has a beautiful smile and is an absolute pleasure to work with!
A couple months ago I got to take family portraits for Nikki and her gorgeous family. They hadn't taken family pictures in about 5 or 6 years, so it was high time! I was so excited to be able to do this with them!
When Nikki told me this is where she wanted her family pictures done, I was a little bit hesitant. The barn she was raving about was pretty far from my house and I just wasn't sure it would be worth the trip. Let me tell you it was! Wow, it was an amazing place and we were able to get such beautiful, fun and natural pictures of her family.
Often as kids get older parents stop taking family portraits. I'm not really sure why, it probably has something to do with the fact that older kids don't change as quickly as younger ones.... I have to tell you taking pictures with older kids is just as, if not more special than with younger ones.
When Nikki saw me get her two boys to hug, she just couldn't believe it! She said she didn't remember the last time she saw them do that! It made my day to see how happy she was to see it and have this picture now to cherish forever.
Older kids aren't always so obvious with their affection and getting pictures of two tween hanging out with their dad and kissing their mom is priceless!
I am so happy that I can call this wonderful woman my friend and was able to meet her adorable family. The best compliment a person can give me is that I really captured their personalities and that they all had a great time. I was so so happy to get that feedback from Nikki. Please check Nikki out if you need any help with your social media or online presence, she is amazing!
Thanks for reading and remember.....
